Taking screenies on a Mac

If anyone knows how to take a screenshot with a Mac, I'd appreciate it. Google is being mean, and I wanna upload a bank pic/avatar.

command + shift + 4 for an area screenie

command + shift + 3 for an entire screen

And how do I see the screenie after? Already tried taking one but not sure where to find it now.

go to paint after you got the screenshot i think, dont know if its the same on mac though

i don't know if this works on mac to but go to paint and right click and paste. Paste will automatically be there.

Mac's don't have paint, but problem solved now. Thanks guys.
